We've hired/used Landscape Architecture for two projects at our residence. We couldn't be more pleased with the team. They're focused on the little details which matter - from original design to ensuring the final project is what we envisioned. The first project was smaller in scope and involved a front patio. I had Landscape Architecture do the hardscape for the lower level patio and retaining walls of my 20 year old home. Joe Hanauer is a creative landscape architect and his crew does high quality work. The project was started in the fall of 2010 and finished the following spring. There has been no shifting, settling or any other problems with any of the work they did. I have used Landscape Architecture for three separate projects over the past five years. The projects are all very different from each other. One was a backyard brick patio. Another was reworking the landscaping around our house in both our front and back yards - starting with the design phase. And our third project was adding a basketball court to the backyard. Joe designed my deck, patio and landscaping. His crew did an awesome job implementing the design. They never left a mess in our yard., We couldn't be more pleased with the finished product! no matter what budget Joe and his team provide a great design to suit any aesthetic preference. As an architect I have worked with Joe on both residential and commercial projects and have always been pleased with how he ties the landscape design to the building and into the grand vision of the project.
