I'm updating my review again higher to 4 stars. I had a bit of a disappointing experience, but in the end they worked with me and took care of it. The workmanship was never the issue, the work done looks great. The communication was the problem for me. Lesson learned for me: Don't rely on timely communication but to be proactive and stay on top of the project and your contact person. Bertog is the best landscape company. Alex has helped me with all the plantings that I have needed. He has given me great advise about preventing the rabbits from eating all the hostas and newly planted eponymous. The winter pruning last year was outstanding. The pruning has stopped erosion, and the bushes have grown fuller and healthier. Leaf mulching (which I have never done) has made all the trees, bushes and plants much healthier. Thank you, Bertog
The office is responsive and helpful and the team doing the landscaping work is excellent. I loved coming home to a yard that looked healthy and beautiful. I also appreciated the straightforward contracting process and the ability to pay monthly online. Overall, Bertog has been the best experience I've had with landscapers. I would highly recommend this team.
I hired Bertog to do a number of projects at my home. Front yard landscaping design and installation, walkway installation and downspout burial. The Bertog team was amazing and the job turned out fantastic. Highly recommend!
Leave holes in the grass each time they come. Don't know how to patch the grass correctly either. Even the hedges are trimmed rarely. The most basic and essential things a landscraper does: which is trimming things. They have not an idea of the concept. This is just the start though. They run over your hose, damage your gutters, & siding. Didn't even have the courage to say anything. The managers never apologized for that either.
